Catering

  • All of the food is prepared fresh on the premises and supplied from local businesses.
  • Menus C, D, E, F and G can be cooked at your venue providing you have a kitchen on site that meets the appropriate health safety and hygiene standards.
  • We can provide the whole package from cooking serving and clearing any type of function and will be happy to talk to you about special requirements.
  • Our tearoom will seat 32 covers comfortably and we can offer all of the menus found below both lunch time and evening.
 
The tearoom can be set up to your own colour scheme and we can provide entertainment of all kinds from Folk groups to professional Murder mystery or Ghost nights. We are licensed to sell alcohol and have a range of soft drinks all which can be purchased on the premises. During the summer months you can book the whole venue here for BBQ evenings with or without entertainment. (See BBQ menu below) Why not arrange for your group, club or society to have a walk cycle or trek over the Chase and come back to the Lodge for a home cooked snack or meal.

  • Prices for additional starters and desserts can be found after the menus, which are all home cooked using organic and local produce.
  • Menus A and B presented below can be delivered to a venue of your choice at any time of the day. The price per head changes slightly depending on numbers and destination.
  • E.g. Menu A for 20 people within a 5 mile radius it would be £10.50 per head whereas 50 people within a 5 mile radius would be £8.50 per head.

  • Assorted sandwiches and open bridge rolls

  • Lasagne (meat and vegetarian)

Menu E - £12.50 - £14.50 per head

  • Roast meat of choice (Beef, Pork, Lamb or Chicken)
  • Vegetable tower
  • Roast and creamed potatoes.
  • Roast parsnips
  • Cauliflower cheese, carrots and green beans.
  • Roast gravy

Menu F - £11.50 - £13.50 per head

  • Pot roast of beef in ale
  • Staffordshire way oatcake (oatcake filled with organic courgettes leeks peppers and garlic bound in a tomato and basil jus and topped with a cheese sauce)
  • Boulangere potatoes
  • Buttered cabbage slice

Menu G - £12.75 - £14.75 per head

  • Poached salmon served with a sauce of choice (white wine, asparagus or cream)

  • Chicken, gammon, steak or salmon cooked on the BBQ

Desserts - £2.75 - £3.75 per head

A section of home made cakes delivered to your work place to celebrate a birthday or to accompany a training session. Flapjack, Fruit cherry or plain scones with clotted cream fruitcake, ginger cake, and banana cake. Cheese scones for diabetics
